TRIPWIRE
Tripwire is a Liverpool-based, guitar-driven space-rock power trio known for high-energy performances and expansive, atmospheric riffs. Fronted by Eddie Min (guitar/vocals) with Luke Dolphin (bass) and Toby Fletcher (drums), the band blends hard-rock grit with progressive and psychedelic edge, delivering a bold and immersive live experience.

Their debut album Different Kind of Normal—recorded at the renowned Motor Museum and released on February 9—showcases the band’s dynamic sound and creative ambition. In 2024, Tripwire adapted the album into a full rock-opera production staged at Liverpool’s Hope Street Theatre (24–26 October), further expanding their artistic scope and signaling their desire to push the boundaries of modern rock performance.
As a fully neurodivergent group, Tripwire brings a distinct and authentic perspective to the genre, channeling their individuality into music that connects with diverse and emerging audiences.

With more than 50 shows across Liverpool and Manchester—including sets at Jimmy’s, EBGBs, Retro, and The Zanzibar—the band has built a strong regional presence and shared stages with artists such as Crawlers, Snayx, and Film School.

PRESS QUOTES
Fuzzy Liverpool-based Alt Rock outfit TRIPWIRE have returned with their latest single 'Time To Wake Up', a song that caught us by surprise a little as it shows a whole new, more delicate and vulnerable side to them. They are known for their raw power and anthemic walls of sound, now, don't get us wrong, these are more than present in the new single. However, the verses see a stripped back sound, filled with rim shots and a dreamy Grunge guitar line that floats dreamily around the track. The vocals, too, have a heartfelt intimacy and high pitched delivery that creates a more emotive and considered approach.

TRIPWIRE brightens the Hard Rock scene with its sound full of emotion and talent. In this way, it is expected that the single “Axiom” will be a smashing success in the medium. Released on the 19th, the song is composed of extraordinary vocals and an admirable instrumental, which explodes in the chorus and makes the listener want to sing along. This is a production that would certainly please the most attentive ears of Hard Rock lovers. Available on the main digital platforms, “Axiom” is a single that presents TRIPWIRE’s proposal well. Enjoy:
